The STI -10 + panel is the most comprehensive STI screen we have available and aids in the evaluation and discrimination of samples for ten (10) pathogens. These are Chlamydia trachomatis, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Mycoplasma genitalium, Trichomonas vaginalis, Candida Albicans Gardnerella vaginalis, Ureaplasma urealyticum, Ureaplasma parvum, Herpes Simplex Virus 1 (HSV1) and Herpes Simplex Virus 2 (HSV2).

This test is highly complex and screens for the most common STI’s. This is the best screen that we have and also the best value. The screen takes the guesswork out of the hands of the physician and gives him the most comprehensive tool for detection of the pathogens that may be the cause of the patient problems.

Unlike the STI9 this test differentiates between Ureaplasma urealyticum and Ureaplasma parvum as well as for Herpes Simplex Virus 1 (HSV1) and Herpes Simplex Virus 2 (HSV2) and has the added benefit of testing for Candida.

The test sample is a urine sample or an endocervical swab.
