About Enterovirus
Enteroviruses (EV) include polioviruses, coxsackieviruses, echoviruses and other enteroviruses. Non-polio enteroviruses are very common — second only to the “common cold” viruses as the most frequent viral infections in humans.
The viruses are found in the respiratory secretions and stool of an infected person.
