Enteroviruses (EV) viruses including polioviruses, coxsackieviruses, echoviruses, and other enteroviruses. The Non-polio enteroviruses are very common and are second only to the “common cold” viruses as the most common viral infectious agents in humans. The viruses are found in the respiratory secretions and stool of an infected person.
