Overview
Non-Invasive Prenatal Testing
NIPT is a non-invasive prenatal test that uses a simple maternal blood sample to screen for chromosomal conditions in the developing baby. It analyzes cell-free fetal DNA in the mother’s bloodstream, and correctly identifies more than 99% of Down syndrome cases — traditional blood tests can miss as many as 15% — with a false-positive rate below 0.1%.
It needs a single blood draw from 11 weeks of pregnancy onwards, can be used in twin and IVF pregnancies, and results are ready in 7–10 business days. Choose the test that fits your needs below; each lists its price.

Important Note
NIPT is a screening test, not a diagnostic test. A positive result must be confirmed with a diagnostic test — CARIGEN’s QSTR Trisomy Analysis on a CVS or amniotic fluid sample. Discuss results with your doctor or genetic counsellor.
